Propagator assembly : Step 1

Leave all the nuts slightly loose until you have all parts together, and then finally tighten.

Assemble the base

Parts

• 2x long aluminium bar
• 2x short aluminium bar
• 7x channel nut
• 7x M5 * 8mm bolt
• 8x screw
• 4x corner block

Process

1. Position the aluminium bars on the table, the long ones across the front and rear, and the short ones on the sides. The closed face of the bar faces upwards.
2. Insert two channel nuts in the outer channel of the left, rear and right bars.
3. Insert one channel nut in the front channel of the front bar.
4. Thread the M5x8mm bolts loosely into these channel nuts. They will hold the panels.
5. Secure the bars together by screwing them together with the corner blocks. Do this over the corner of a table, so that the bars lie flat and square with eachother.

The base frame is now assembled.
