If you get a HTTP 404 error when trying to access the Device Control Panel, your firmware is corrupt. To fix this, you will need to contact Harvst support so that we can set your device for a firmware update.
If your device is in offline mode, you will need to set it online and configure it for your home WiFi details. Normally, you'd do this with the Device Control Panel but with corrupt firmware you will need to do it a different way.
- First, install the "Tabbed Postman" extension on Google Chrome browser on a laptop or tablet.
- Turn your Harvst device on.
- Connect your laptop to your Harvst device WiFi.
- Open Postman and enter your details as per the image. Note every field, and the URL, carefully.
- Submit. The WiFi details will be saved and the device will try to connect to Harvst. You won't see anything on screen while the firmware is still corrupt.
The URL is http://192.168.4.1/saveWifi
You will need to POST information using form-data:
You'll need to fill out 3 fields:
- conMode = 1
- hNet = your home wifi network name
- hPass = your home wifi password
After 2 minutes, turn your Harvst device off and on again, and try to connect to the Device Control Panel.
