The built-in nursery provides ideal conditions for germinating seeds.
Follow one of the guides depending on how you are growing:
Set the temperature to something appropriate for the seeds you are growing (check the packet). Some seeds germinate better with light, and some germinate better without light. If in doubt, turn the nursery light off, and set it to come on in 3 days time (using the Device Control Panel).
When you first see seedlings pop the surface of the coir, get the lights on, reduce the humidity (by removing the cover dome on the propagator) and lower the temperature. This will strengthen the little guys. This is the critical few days to get things right; the new leaves need as much “sun” as possible to give the plant energy.
Once the seedlings have sprouted their first true leaves, move them up to a growing tier.
