Additional mid-tier grow level

Intermediate growing level kit(s) are used to get more growing space in the same floor footprint.

Components

Fixings kit

• 4x wafer head bolt
• 4x rectangle nut
• 4x o-ring for light fixing
• 1x drain spigot
• 4x stud (screw in or push in)
• 4x short screw

Drains / pipes

• 1x Drain pipe A (125mm + elbow)
• 1x Drain pipe B (155mm + elbow)
• 1x Feed hose cover pipe C - 183mm long
• 1x Feed hose cover pipe D - 213mm long

Other

• 1x Black watering tray
• 1x lights pair
• 2x light bracket

If you have an H2 or H3 and just one extra level kit, it doesn't matter which tier you choose for your intermediate growing level.

Frame assembly

Parts required

• 2x Frame front / rear panel
• 2x Frame side panel
• 4x wafer head bolt
• 4x rectangle nut
• 2x light bracket
• 4x short screw

Process

1. Screw the light brackets to the frame sides, using the pilot holes drilled in the frame sides, as shown in the picture below.
2. Assemble the frame using the four bolts and four rectangle nuts.

Add the lights

1. Place the four o-rings over the light tubes, they will be used to fix the tubes to the bracket.
2. Use the o-rings to secure the lights to the bottom of the brackets, with the longer wire and connection positioned at the rear left.

Fitting process

1. Remove the pipes and hose from the growing tier you are adding to.
2. Push the shelf studs into the holes on the inside of your H-series frame.
   If you have screw-in studs, screw them in using the pilot holes provided.
3. Place the watering tray into the frame.
4. Place the frame into the H-series, onto the studs.
5. Fit the short drains and cover pipes in the same way that you fitted the long ones when you first assembled the system. The drains go in the rear position, and the feed hose covers go in the front position.

The flexible black nutrient feed hose runs up through the front pipes.
